Rebrand NARS by evolving its legacy of bold artistry into a more intimate, luxurious femme fatale identity. Shift from minimal rebellion to seductive opulence with a mysterious edge.

My Contribution
For the NARS project, I worked on developing an Art Nouveau–inspired visual direction, creating a custom illustrative frame with organic curves and ornamental detailing. I contributed to the concept of merging this vintage style with modern metallic accents to give the brand a bold, high-fashion edge. My role included ideation and designing for the façade, packaging and carry bag and exploring how the Art Nouveau language could translate across touchpoints while keeping NARS’ contemporary identity intact.



Challenges & Experience
The key challenge was balancing the ornamental richness of Art Nouveau with NARS’ bold, modern identity without making it feel dated or over-designed. Translating a highly detailed visual language across packaging, façade, and carry bag while keeping it cohesive and premium required careful restraint. This project pushed me to think system-wise — ensuring the illustration, metallic accents, and form worked seamlessly across different scales and brand touchpoints.
