Brief
The magazine reimagines travel not through beaches and skylines, but through legends, abandoned sites, ghost tales, and forgotten folklore — turning curiosity into a guidebook. Each issue maps eerie destinations from around the world, pairing research with atmospheric layouts, photography, and storytelling. The visual direction leans into mood, texture, and cinematic pacing to build an immersive reading experience.
Challenges & Experience
Balancing fact with folklore and keeping the design evocative without overwhelming the content was the biggest challenge. The project sharpened my editorial instincts and helped me explore narrative design in a darker, more experimental space.

Why just travel safe?
Escapade caters to a traveller and not a tourist. They seek travel experiences beyond "mainstream" tourism wanting stories that give them goosebumps, photos they can flex on socials, and tales to tell their friends.
