How to make a Riceball

A zine about a girl who’s trying to turn into a chudail, not for the glam, not for the power, but because she’s convinced it’ll finally make life easier. She thinks becoming a chudail means everything will come effortlessly, only to realise the transformation itself is a whole struggle.

My thoughts

My chudail zine is all about how people assume a chudail means ultimate power and perfection — like she just snaps her fingers and life listens. But that’s not how it works. It’s more about how you actually have to struggle for things, push through, and nothing comes easy… and then the moment you stop trying so hard, suddenly everything falls into place. That’s literally why whenever I’m rushing something, I purposely act nonchalant so it happens faster.

And yes, I used Comic Sans on purpose. Not because I’ve lost taste, but because the font is so ew that it becomes the perfect sarcastic punchline. It breaks the illusion, adds irony, and matches the whole idea that power isn’t pretty or polished — it’s chaotic, unpredictable, and sometimes accidentally iconic.
